📢 The 4th edition of the Rencontres Professionnelles du Logiciel Libre (RPLL)

The RPLLs are organized by PLOSS-RA (Professionnels du Libre et Open-Source Software en Rhône-Alpes Auvergne) which brings together about thirty Free Digital Companies (ENL) in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

The objective of these Free and Open-Source players is to promote “coopetition”, to develop, structure and solidify a dynamic ecosystem.

This is an opportunity for the Product Owner of Twake Workplace Mail, Benoit TELLIER, to come back to the possibilities offered by the truly Open Source mail server.

𝐓𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐥: 𝐒𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐈, 𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐎𝐑𝐀

✅ Twake Mail is built on the Apache Foundation’s James mail server, which is the reference implementation of the JMAP protocol. It was the IETF (one of the Internet standards organizations along with the W3C) that decided to define this new Web standard in order to be able to take advantage of the power of the cloud and AI in the field of messaging. LINAGORA has participated in this specification from the beginning by writing some of its standards (RFCs).
